More on the Winter Sale
I will be at IKEA Canton (MI) on Dec 30 or 31, is anyone else going to swoop in on the Winter Sale and want to meet up for a plate of meatballs? I wasn’t wanting to go on the weekend, but as I just got a new job going during the week is kinda tough now.

Another tip (from an employee of IKEA also) is to look for yellow banners. These banners with red writing will be the items with the highest markdowns. This year you may find items that may be discontinued, but may show up again. Without a doubt if you see it during sale, buy it.
If it shows up again it’s just because it’s still in stock, I would gather, but once they run out it’s gone never to return.

Just back from the big sale in Canton. Have to say it was pure CHAOS, but lots of good values to be had. Picked up a nifty rug at half off, lots of small items for the kitchen and other areas, all 50% off or more. Had some larger furniture items in the Magiker line at huge markdowns and a nice sofabed for $99, but not in colors we use. A little over 3.5 hours from West Chester to IKEA, not a bad drive, but can’t wait for that to be 10 minutes!
I think the best deal I got on Saturday (in Canton also) was the lighted shelves at 75% off… Picked up a couple for my daughter’s room to go with her new Ikea bed!
